About

I was born in Cassino, Italy, and moved right away to my home town, Benevento, in the center-south of Italy.

In 2010, soon after graduating at University of Sannio in Computer Engineering, I started doing research and student tutoring on Networking and Service-oriented Architectures at the same university, as a research assistant.

In March 2011, I started my Ph.D. Programme in Computer Engineering at the Department of Engineering of University of Sannio, under the supervision of Prof. Eugenio Zimeo, during which I was also involved in teaching activities related to the courses on Computer Networks, Distributed Systems, Web Technologies and Software Programming.
During my Ph.D., I also spent some months at the Department of Electronics and Information (DEI) of Politecnico di Milano. My research at University of Sannio was focused on Service-oriented Architectures (SOA), aimed at devising efficient and effective approaches for service composition in P2P networks. I also worked on context-awareness, self-organizing systems for workflow management, Semantic Web and Quality of Service (QoS). At University of Sannio, I started my research on graph analysis, clustering algorithms, big data analysis, recommendation systems and social networking.

I completed my Ph.D. in July 2014, by discussing a thesis entitled Scalable Service Composition in Autonomic Computing. Soon after my Ph.D. defense, I started a post-doc at Unisannio, ant participated to the project MyOpenGov.

In November 2014, I moved to Lyon, France and started an INRIA post-doc in the UrbaNet team (now AGORA) of CITI-lab in INSA Lyon, doing research on mobile networking with Marco Fiore and Razvan Stanica, in the context of the ANR ABCD project on Adaptive Behavior and Cloud Distribution.

I became full-time researcher for Université Gustave Eiffel (French Institute of Science and Technology for Transport, Development and Networks) and the French Ministry of Ecology, Sustainable Development and Energy. I am doing classes on Intelligent Transportation Systems and Data Mining at the ENTPE (National School of Public Work) of Lyon. My current research interests are in the fields of mobility analysis and engineering, resilience analysis, mobile networking, P2P systems and applications.

My current research is about exploiting multi-source traffic data to support urban planning and management of transportation infrastructures, mobile networking and social networking.
